Unless you tell me not to, I (“The Mindful Potter”) collect the following information about you (my “end user”) and your visits to my website:
Your name and email; either because you have signed up to receive updates and offers through my newsletter or because you have made purchase.
If you have made a purchase you will also be sharing your address with me so that I can complete your order.
Details of the objects you have previously purchased from us so that I can make suggestions to you for other pieces I think you may.
Information about your recent visits to www.themindfulpotter.com and how you used the website, so that I can make it as intuitive, simple and enjoyable to use as possible. I may also use this data to analyse broader trends in the usage of the website to help me understand how to improve. This website is powered by Squarespace and your information is securely stored through their platform and security functionalities. However, I am responsible for how it is collected and used. You can read Squarespace’s privacy policy here.
If you have purchased a product I will keep your information for up to 2 years and may occasionally email you with information I feel you may be interested in (shop updates after a particularly happy kiln opening, for example).
If you have signed up for my newsletter, I will keep your information safe and only use it to send you updates I genuinely think you would care about and enjoy.
You can, of course, opt-out and stop receiving these at any time, in which case your personal information will be immediately deleted from my database.
To unsubscribe, simply click on “unsubscribe” in the footer of my newsletters or marketing emails.

Your payment information will be securely processed via Stripe, a third party eCommerce Payment Processor which integrates with the Squarespace platform, in accordance with Stripe’s terms and policies which you can find here.
Squarespace transmits your complete payment information when you initially provide or update it only so that they can pass it along to the eCommerce Payment Processors. Squarespace do not collect or store any of your payment information, and neither do I.
Other than your payment information, none of your other personal data or details will be shared with any third parties without your explicit consent.

The right to rectification – You have the right to request that I correct any information I hold about you which you believe is inaccurate, or to complete any information you believe is incomplete.
